We've just donated 10,000 euro in advertising to assist Haven's Haiti Earthquake appeal. This represents a large chunk of the 21,500 Daily Star advertising fund that we won as part of the Ireland AM business competition. We're only a small start up with limited unds but we couldn't just sit back and do nothing as the disaster unfolded on our TV screens.
The charity which we are partnerin with, Haven, have been working in Haiti since 2008 and primarily focus on home building. They have pledged to construct up to 10,000 houses in the rebuilding of Haiti, something we feel should be suppoorted in whatever way possible at this time.
Individually, our donations might seem miniscule, but the collective impact the Ark community could have is immeasurable. Your support would mean both a huge amount to us, and to the people of Haiti.
