No, we're in business to spread a message, not to make a personal profit. 100% of the money we make goes back into growing Ark as a business and movement, with any surplus (should we ever get there!) going toward a charitable fund that reflects our goal of changing society from I to We.
In terms of how this breaks down. Cameron (our delightfully young founder) has legally obliged himself from ever taking a dividend in the company. This is recorded in the Memorandum of Understanding and Articles of Association that underpin the rather oddly named: Acts of Random Kindness Ltd. The most any individual can ever get from Ark is a wage and a lot of fulfillment. This will be benchmarked against the wages of other socially oriented business to keep it as transparent as possible. Fulfillment will be benchmarked against new born mothers and Oscar winners.
In terms of where we will be reinvesting the money, because we see that best way to spread this message is through the 'wear an Ark, perform an Ark' idea, we want to build up a great stock of well designed clothing so that people are attracted to joining this movement. We also want to expand into other products (from iPod Socks to Ice cream) so that we can appeal to all ages and interests.
